What do I do if I suspect my child has a speech or language problem?
Contact our Center to speak with a staff member about your concerns and your child’s eligibility for our program.

How does my child qualify for weekly therapy at your Center?
After an evaluation, if a delay is identified, your child will be placed on our waiting list to receive services at our Center. If delays in other areas of development are suspected, your child may be referred to another facility for a full developmental evaluation. We typically serve children with delays in the following areas: receptive language, expressive language, speech sound production, and social communication.

If my child qualifies for services, how often will my child attend therapy?
Children usually attend therapy 1-2 times a week for 30-minute individual or 60-minute group sessions. Services are dependent on a child’s communication needs and availability.

Do you have a waiting list?
Yes. If a child is an appropriate candidate for our services, his or her name will be placed on our waiting list immediately following his or her initial evaluation. Families will be contacted as soon as their child’s name is at the top of the waiting list to schedule weekly therapy sessions.

How much do services cost?
All of our services are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Scottish Rite Masons, grants, and personal donations. Donations made by client families are always welcomed and encouraged.
