Larissa has over seven years of experience working as a speech language pathologist. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Sciences from San Diego State University. Larissa worked in a public school with preschool age children for three years prior to coming to the Scottish Rite Language Center in July of 2011. After growing up in Chicago, she appreciates the warm Southern California weather and spends as much time as she can outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University Long Beach and Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology with an emphasis in Early Intervention (birth to three years) from San Diego State University. Melissa has also earned a Certificate of Clinical Competence and a Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech and Hearing. With over a decade of experience, she has worked in various settings including her private clinic, Special Education Center, Children’s Hospital, and elementary schools. When Melissa is not working, you can find her enjoying the company of her husband and children, playing the piano or enjoying her garden.
Dolly has more than four years of working experience as a speech language pathology assistant. She received an associate of science degree at Orange Coast College. She interned with Scottish Rite Language Center from October 2010 until June 2011. She was hired by the Scottish Rite Language Center shortly after receiving her license in July of 2011. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and driving up and down the coast enjoying the scenery.
Kelly has been looking after the Long Beach Scottish Rite Language Center for over a decade as the administrative assistant. She received her degree in Creative Writing from California State University Long Beach and is pursuing a career in editing and writing. When she is not working, she is hula dancing, working on her novel, or spending time with her family and friends.
